Allison Dellner, Clinical Herbalist

Allison Dellner is an herbalist, mother, reader, and lover of plants & wild places.

Growing up, her mother taught her to make things herself rather than buy them, instilling in her a self-reliance that led her to making her own medicine and taking her health into her own hands. Allison hopes to encourage others to reclaim sovereignty over their health and to connect people to the plants that will lead them to wellness.

Allison spent three years learning from people and plants at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, where she completed their Clinical Herbalist Program in 2015.  She went on to earn a BA in Health Arts & Sciences from Goddard College in 2023. Allison has worked clinically at the Vermont Patients Alliance from 2015-2020, counseling medical cannabis patients in their transition to plant remedies. She has begun her own practice; seeing clients for herbal consultations, giving classes, wildcrafting and harvesting herbs and making seasonal herbal remedies and herbal skin care products.

Allison is a doula, with a passion for herbal care in reproductive health. She has experience and training in natural childbirth, postpartum care, and herbal medicine for women and children.

'wild sings the bird' has in many ways been a mother-daughter collaboration; inspired by Allison's daughter, Dahlia,  the company's Bottler/Labeler Extraordinaire, Sale-Charmer, & Fun Consultant.
